Well it's been a year and some change since I've put anything up on this site. 2008 has been a good year so far. I recently graduated from flight school in August, and I received my wings! I just bought a new house and moved to Jacksonville, Florida! I think i'll like it here. I'm still in the process of looking for a new church. Any suggestions?? anyone?

OK it's been awhile since i've posted, but i have good reason for my absence!
I met the most beautiful girl today.
She had curves like you wouldn't believe!
Oh and you should see the tail on this one.
To say she's pretty high maintenance would be a gross understatement, but I don't mind because if it's meant to be then it's meant to be. *shrug
I think i'm in love.

oh and in other news, I had my first solo flight today! They don't let you do a lot on your first solo so I just flew circles over my house. =P
Hurricane Dean is sorta headed this way, but it seems like it's likely to move south toward Mexico and miss us completely. It's my first hurricane! It's my first time having to board up the house. how weird is that?

*NOTE: I quit world of warcraft back in January so I could focus on flight training. ;P
oh and by the way, lately flight training has been like drinking information from a fire hose at full blast if you catch my drift....

So I moved to Corpus Christi, TX a few weekends ago. It's my first time having professional movers. All i had to do was stand there and point, and the movers just started wrapping and moving. Plus I get paid for up to 600 lbs. of stuff that I move myself so I had to load my car up to the max.
My first day in Corpus we went to the local Walmart, and I am delightfully greeted by a display of exotic produce!
They even had cacti pieces. All in all I am enjoying Texas a lot more than Florida. The beach is only about half a mile from my house too so feel free to visit! (though I may not have that much time to hangout once I start training next week) Lastly, a short video of my API (aviation preflight indoctrinatino) class:
